Classes Keep FFF Enterprises Employees Moving!

 

April 16, 2009 – Zumba Freedom, Temecula’s contribution to the Zumba fitness craze, has joined the employee wellness movement as well. Zumba Freedom is partnering with FFF Enterprises in Temecula, to offer fitness classes to employees.

 

Zumba instructor, Dionne Shigg of Zumba Freedom has done her research. “Corporate wellness programs are being implemented by employers who realize it’s more beneficial and cost-effective to proactively invest in the wellness of their employees. I look forward to aligning myself with more forward-thinking employers.” Shigg continues by pointing to an article from the National Business Group on Health that says, “Staying active is the single most important step that employees can take to maintain and improve their health. Regular physical activity helps prevent weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic conditions. Staying active helps combat stress and improves mood.”

 

In a report cited by the Society for Human Resource Management, “… employees who participate once per week in a wellness program took significantly less sick time than those who never do so.”
